Briley Parkway (State Route 155) southbound near Nashville International Airport was shut down Monday morning after a crash that caused downed power lines and damaged traffic signals, blocking the roadway in both directions.

According to transportation officials, the incident happened around 8 a.m. and led to a full closure between key exits while crews responded to the scene and worked to clear the area. Traffic was rerouted off Briley Parkway as emergency teams handled the downed lines and managed the disruption near the airport.

Authorities said the crash also impacted nearby traffic flow around BNA, creating major delays in the area. It’s not yet confirmed if anyone was injured.

Drivers were urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes while cleanup and repairs continued.
