Metro Nashville police have made a second arrest connected to two deadly shootings that happened at the same South Nashville recording studio in November 2024.

Tatenda Makoka, 35, was taken into custody during a traffic stop and is now facing a criminal homicide charge in the death of 45-year-old Johnathon Wallace. Wallace was found shot and killed inside his SUV in the parking lot of a recording studio on Hill Avenue on the night of November 2.

Just hours later, another shooting happened in the same parking lot. Justin Williams, 35, was found fatally wounded early the next morning on November 3.

Jaden Johnson, 27, was previously arrested shortly after that second shooting and charged in connection to Williams’ death.

Police say the two shootings are not believed to be connected and are being investigated as separate cases.
