The Patterson House has entered a new phase in its long-running Nashville story, reopening atop the Bill Voorhees Building on 8th Avenue South. After more than 16 years in operation, the cocktail bar continues its role as an early leader in the city’s craft cocktail scene, now in an updated location with expanded offerings.

At The Patterson House, seating is still primarily first-come, first-served, with limited reservations available for parties of up to 10 guests. Each night, walk-in seating remains a core part of the experience, staying true to the bar’s original approach.

The bar program now features two distinct cocktail menus. One focuses on modern, frequently rotating original drinks, while a second menu highlights The Patterson House classics, drawing from a collection of roughly 150 rotating selections. Guests will also find a curated non-alcoholic cocktail list, along with wine and beer options.

Complementing the expanded drink program is a newly developed food menu led by Chef Matt Atkinson. The updated lineup includes a wider range of dishes designed for both light bites and full meals, all crafted to pair naturally with the cocktail offerings.

As it settles into its new home, The Patterson House continues to balance its roots in classic cocktail culture with an evolving menu and setting that reflects where Nashville’s bar scene is today.
