In South Nashville, crews from the Nashville Fire Department are working to contain a two-alarm fire at an apartment complex, according to WSMV. The department responded to 2131 Elm Hill Pike just before 2:50 p.m. after receiving over 15 emergency calls reporting the blaze. At this time, there are no details available about injuries.

Firefighters remain on the scene, actively battling the blaze. The two-alarm classification indicates a serious incident requiring significant resources, and officials are urging residents to steer clear of the area while the response is underway.

The Nashville Department of Emergency Communications received numerous calls from community members, highlighting the intensity of the fire. No additional information, such as the cause of the fire or whether residents have been evacuated or displaced, has been released at this time.

As this remains an active and unfolding event, WSMV has dispatched a news crew to the site to gather more details. The station will provide updates as more information becomes available.
