Fire Safety Tips to Protect Your Home:
Check Your Smoke Detectors: Test alarms monthly and replace batteries at least twice a year. Smoke detectors save lives by giving early warnings. Create and Practice an Escape Plan: Make sure everyone in your household knows at least two ways out of each room and where to meet outside. Be Careful with Heating Equipment: Keep anything that can burn at least three feet away from heaters, fireplaces, and candles. Inspect Electrical Devices: Avoid overloading outlets and replace damaged cords immediately. Stay Alert When Cooking: Never leave cooking unattended, and keep flammable items away from stovetops.
