A man has been arrested in connection with what police are describing as an unprovoked fatal shooting that took place in Nashville. Metro Nashville Police announced the arrest on Tuesday, identifying the suspect as 29-year-old Emanuel Stewart. According to investigators, Stewart is accused of fatally shooting 33-year-old Memphis resident Corey McCray on Sunday night.
The incident happened outside a business along Murfreesboro Pike. Police say McCray had traveled to Nashville to visit family and friends when, for reasons still under investigation, he was shot multiple times.
