One person hospitalized after North Nashville gunfire

The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating a shooting at a residence in North Nashville that occurred on Sunday night. Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Salem Mason Drive just before 8 30 p.m. following reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, first responders learned that one person had been injured in the incident. The victim was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital. At this time, authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the individual’s medical condition.

No specifics have been revealed about what caused the shooting. Investigators have not provided details concerning possible motivations or circumstances leading up to the incident.
