Nicole Arbour spoke out on social media just hours after reports surfaced that she had accused country music artist Jelly Roll of allegedly threatening to kill her.

The claims were first reported by TMZ, which said Arbour filed an incident report on March 1 and submitted video evidence tied to the alleged exchange. However, the Metro Nashville Police Department told TMZ it is not currently investigating the matter.

“As you’re probably aware, there appears to be an ongoing back and forth between the two,” MNPD said. “No charges have been filed and there is no current investigation underway on the part of MNPD.”

According to TMZ’s reporting, police reviewed the submitted footage and identified Jelly Roll and another man in the video. The report alleges the incident took place at a charity event, where Arbour claims Jelly Roll became upset after seeing her recording and said he would kill her if she was filming.

Arbour responded Thursday night on X, pushing back on both the reporting and the police response. In a video statement, she questioned inconsistencies in the case and raised concerns about how it has been handled.

She also claimed a detective contacted her shortly after TMZ published its story, saying the investigation had been paused because a witness could not be reached. Arbour further alleged that her initial attempt to file a police report was rejected by Metro Nashville officers, which she described as improper handling of her complaint.

Arbour additionally accused Jelly Roll of having influence over media coverage, though she did not provide evidence for that claim. She maintained that she did not have a camera during the alleged encounter, contradicting earlier reporting tied to the incident.

Jelly Roll has not been charged with any crime, and no formal investigation is currently active, according to police.
