A tragic crash on Mt. View Road in South Nashville claimed the lives of four teenagers on the morning of October 26, 2025. The victims were passengers in a 2017 Infinity G37 that collided with a northbound Jeep Renegade. The driver of the Infinity, 17-year-old Kerlos Toma, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to his injuries.

The three passengers 19-year-old Maximos Ibrahim, 17-year-old Raafat Nassif, and 19-year-old David Fakhory died at the scene. The 24-year-old driver of the Jeep sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to survive.
