Nashville’s unofficial holiday is just one day away. June 15, known across the city as 615 Day, is a celebration of Nashville’s iconic area code, and this year there is no shortage of ways to mark the occasion. From $6.15 food deals to a full week of community events, here is everything happening around the city.
Assembly Food Hall
More than a dozen restaurants and bars inside Assembly Food Hall are offering $6.15 specials all day long. Participating spots include Hattie Jane’s Creamery, No Baked, Cheese Lab, Whisk Crepes, Han’s Banh Mi, and Pharmacy Burger, plus all-day drink deals throughout the hall.
Fifth + Broad
Locals driving to the area can also snag a parking deal. Tennessee license plate holders can park in the Fifth and Broad retail garage for just $6.15, leaving plenty of room in the budget to grab a bite at Assembly and shop the surrounding stores.
Whataburger
Select Middle Tennessee Whataburger locations are joining in on 615 Day with a number one Whatameal priced at $6.15. The meal comes with a Whataburger, medium fries, and a medium drink. No coupon needed. The deal is good in-store, at the drive-thru, and through the Whataburger mobile app.
Nashville International Airport
Even BNA is getting in on the celebration. Nashville International Airport is hosting a terminal-wide 615 Day event featuring local flavor and festive surprises from concourse to concourse, put together by concessions partner Fraport Nashville, LLC.
Predators mascot Gnash will be at BNA Marketplace and Smashville from 10 to 11 a.m., while Nashville Soccer Club mascot Tempo will appear at BNA Marketplace and The Castle from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Passengers can also expect giveaway items from the Fraport Nashville team throughout the day.
A Full Week of Events
The celebration does not end Monday. Six One Tribe is kicking off an official week-long series of 615 Day events starting tomorrow night at Aura Events Center from 7 to 11 p.m., with remarks expected from Mayor Freddie O’Connell.
Tuesday brings a Creatives and Culture networking event at The Outfield in Wedgewood-Houston.
Wednesday, the National Museum of African American Music hosts 615 Culture House, an immersive event spotlighting Nashville’s creative community through music, art, fashion, and storytelling.
Thursday, BE Nation throws a free outdoor celebration at The Outfield with live music, local food trucks, a vendor village, and an open invite for the whole neighborhood.
Friday night, Ramen and R&B takes over JINYA after hours, pairing signature ramen with live R&B music and Nashville’s tastemakers.
Saturday closes out the week with two events. A morning wellness gathering hosted by 61 Fitness at Averianna kicks off at 10 a.m. at East Lit High School, followed by a recovery zone with stretching. Then that afternoon, the 615 Pool Party takes over the rooftop at the Drift Hotel with DJ sets, cocktails, and food.
Tickets for all Six One Tribe events are available on their website.
