NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Passenger traffic is increasing at Nashville International Airport as the city heads into a busy winter season. The rise is driven by holiday travel, concerts, and upcoming events across Middle Tennessee.

Airport officials say security lines may be longer during peak times, but additional staff have been scheduled to help keep movement steady. Travelers are encouraged to arrive early for morning flights.

New food and retail options have recently opened in several concourses, giving visitors more choices while they wait. Seating areas have also been expanded to accommodate higher crowds.

Ride services and hotel shuttles are running on adjusted winter schedules. The added trips help travelers move between the airport, downtown, and nearby neighborhoods with fewer delays.

With more events planned throughout the season, Nashville International Airport expects a consistent flow of visitors heading into the winter months.
