NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) is asking the public for help in locating Kevin McMillan, 38, who currently has 19 outstanding warrants.
McMillan faces charges including aggravated assault on first responders, reckless endangerment, identity theft, evading arrest, and drug possession. Seventeen of these warrants stem from an August incident at an apartment complex on Rio Vista Drive, where he allegedly fled from Madison Precinct officers.
According to police, McMillan was seen selling narcotics at the complex while driving a Ram 1500 pickup truck that had been banned from the property. When officers approached, he reportedly used his late brother’s driver’s license in an attempt to avoid detection. McMillan then refused to exit the truck and struck two patrol vehicles while fleeing into nearby woods. Officers were able to apprehend two passengers in the vehicle, but McMillan escaped.
Inside the truck, police found a Glock handgun modified to be fully automatic, a BB gun resembling a rifle, two loaded magazines, and various drugs, including marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl. McMillan’s phone, both his and his brother’s driver’s licenses, and his house keys were also seized.
McMillan has a prior criminal history, including a 2020 cocaine possession conviction and a seven-year prison sentence in 2007 for aggravated assault after a 2005 shooting incident.
Anyone with information on McMillan’s whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
