Two men sentenced in separate rape and murder cases

Gallatin Police have announced convictions in two separate cases involving rape and murder. In the first case, Boris Whitworth was found guilty on three counts of rape. He received a sentence of ten years in prison. 

In the second case, Caleb Eidlebach was convicted of second-degree murder and tampering with evidence. He was given a sentence of twenty-five years at 100 percent release eligibility. 

Police expressed appreciation for the work of the Sumner County District Attorney’s Office in securing justice in both matters. They emphasized the importance of community safety and accountability for criminal actions. 

The Gallatin Police Department said these convictions reflect their commitment to keeping perpetrators accountable and protecting the community.
