A Nashville woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly throwing rocks off the roof of an apartment building, biting three officers and threatening to kill them. The arrest affidavit reveals officers were called to the 500 block of Lea Avenue after reports that someone with a weapon was throwing objects from the rooftop pool area. When officers arrived, they say they found the person, referred to as “Jane Doe,” alone on the roof.

When questioned, she denied having thrown anything. She told officers she was “interior designing the lounge area” but was wearing a bikini, which the affidavit says struck officers as odd under the circumstances. Witnesses who had called 911 identified her as the person throwing rocks.

Officers attempted to take her into custody. She denied the accusations, claiming the only item she threw was a beer can. However, rocks that appeared large enough to cause harm were seen in the street below. During the arrest attempt she reportedly bit two officers in the forearm, a third in the thigh, and tried to bite a fourth. Once handcuffed and placed in the patrol car she allegedly tried to break a window.

After she was turned over to jail authorities she allegedly threatened the officers by saying she would remember their faces and kill them. She is charged with two counts of assault on an officer (fear of bodily injury), three counts of assault of law enforcement officer with offensive contact, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, escape from custody and retaliation for a past action.
