A large fire broke out at a home on Sullivan Trail in La Vergne, Tennessee, late on Sunday night, triggering an extensive response from local first responders. According to the city’s Public Information Officer, the La Vergne Fire Department arrived just after 10:30 p.m., finding the front of the house heavily engulfed in flames.
Fire crews managed to bring the blaze under control remarkably quickly. They arrived on scene within three minutes of being alerted, and within seven minutes had contained the damage to the front portion of the home. That rapid intervention helped prevent the fire from spreading further.
Fortunately, the family who lived in the house had already evacuated before the firefighters arrived. Emergency medical services treated one individual at the scene, though officials did not release specific details regarding the nature of the treatment. No other injuries were reported in connection with the fire.
The response involved a coordinated effort: 17 firefighters, six fire suppression vehicles, and two command officers from the La Vergne Fire Department attended the scene. The Town of Smyrna Fire Department also provided assistance, reinforcing the mutual-aid efforts that helped bring the situation under control.
