A passenger in a vehicle involved in a high-speed chase on Dobbins Pike in Sumner County has been arrested after allegedly firing at least six shots at another car during the incident. The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) responded to the scene on Saturday night, where deputies, along with the Gallatin Police Department, successfully stopped the suspect vehicle, which contained the driver and two passengers.
Upon searching the vehicle, authorities discovered multiple firearms and cocaine. Nathan Holcomb, a passenger in the back seat, was identified as the shooter and now faces charges including aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and drug-related offenses. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the pursuit.
The SCSO commended the collaborative efforts of the involved agencies, stating, “We’re grateful no one was injured, and we appreciate the teamwork between agencies to take this threat off the streets.”
