All’Antico Vinaio, the renowned sandwich shop from Florence, Italy, has officially opened two locations in Nashville, marking its debut in the Southeastern United States. The new establishments are situated in the vibrant Midtown area near Vanderbilt University and in The Gulch, a rapidly developing neighborhood close to Music City Center .
Celebrating its expansion, All’Antico Vinaio offered a complimentary sandwich to the first 100 customers at each Nashville location on opening day, May 22, 2025. The brand’s founder, Tommaso “Tommy” Mazzanti, expressed enthusiasm about bringing the authentic taste of Florence to Music City, highlighting Nashville’s passion for great food and creativity .
Established in 1991 by the Mazzanti family, All’Antico Vinaio has grown from a local favorite in Florence to an international sensation. The Nashville locations are the brand’s ninth and tenth in the United States, following successful openings in New York City, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles .
The menu features a variety of signature sandwiches, including:
La Favolosa: Salame toscana, pecorino cream, artichoke cream, and spicy eggplant. L’Inferno: Porchetta, nduja cream, grilled vegetables, and arugula. La Toscana: Salame toscana, pecorino toscano, and truffle honey.
In homage to Nashville’s culinary scene, the shop has introduced the Italian Hot, an Italian take on the city’s famous hot chicken sandwich, featuring turkey, provolone piccante, nduja, Calabrian hot honey, and arugula .
