Construction on Nashville’s new Nissan Stadium has reached approximately 75 percent completion as of March according to the Tennessee Titans and recent project updates.

The stadium is being built on the East Bank of the Cumberland River and is scheduled to open in 2027. Once finished it will replace the current Nissan Stadium and become the new home of the Tennessee Titans. It is also expected to host concerts major sporting events and other large scale entertainment.
Around 2,000 workers are on site each day pushing construction forward. Work is now heavily focused on enclosing the structure including the roof system exterior panels and large glass installations as the building takes its final shape.
Inside the stadium crews are also advancing on major infrastructure. This includes elevators escalators seating areas and fan experience spaces. Construction on mechanical and electrical systems is also progressing as interior buildout continues.
The stadium is being designed with a modern domed structure and a translucent roof. It is expected to seat around 60,000 fans and include upgraded technology throughout to improve visibility sound and overall fan experience.
The total project cost is estimated at around 2.1 billion dollars. Funding comes from a mix of public contributions team investment and stadium related revenue sources.
Once completed the venue is expected to play a major role in Nashville’s growth as a sports and entertainment destination attracting national events and large audiences year round.
Construction remains on track with completion expected ahead of the 2027 NFL season.
