The festive visitors stopped at several medical facilities, including children’s hospitals and neonatal intensive care units, where staff said the visits helped lift spirits during an otherwise difficult time for many families.
Hospital representatives said spending the holidays in medical care can be emotionally challenging, and the appearances provided comfort and a sense of normalcy for both children and parents.
Even the Grinch joined in spreading cheer, interacting with families and hospital staff as part of the holiday outreach.
