Metro Nashville Offers $25 Pet Adoptions for Holidays

Published on

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 24, 2025) — Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control is inviting residents to adopt or foster pets this holiday season with a limited-time offer of $25 adoption fees.

The shelter posted on social media that all adoptions are available at the reduced rate, and those who are not ready to adopt can apply to foster an animal. The promotion is part of a “last call” effort to place more animals in homes before the holidays.

Officials encouraged community members to visit the shelter before it closes at 6 p.m. on December 23. The facility will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, then reopen for regular hours later in the week.

Available animals and details on the adoption process can be found through the shelter’s online resources.
