A Kentucky man was arrested in Christian County, Tennessee, after a routine traffic stop, according to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect, identified as 59-year-old Christopher Goode from Hopkinsville, was taken into custody and transported to the Christian County Jail.

During the stop, deputies discovered multiple illegal substances, and Goode was charged with several drug-related offenses. The formal charges include trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in marijuana, possession of opiates, and possession of an unspecified drug. He is also charged with failure to produce a valid insurance card.

The arrest came after law enforcement officers pulled the vehicle over and conducted their investigation, leading to the discovery of the controlled substances. The sheriff’s office provided the list of charges, but did not immediately disclose the amounts or precise street values of the drugs involved.

At this stage, Goode remains in custody, and his case is expected to proceed through the local judicial system. Further updates will depend on court filings, bond hearings, or public statements by the sheriff’s office or prosecutors.
