NASHVILLE, Tenn. (December 20, 2025) — Teen suspects charged after a high-speed chase in a stolen Mercedes are facing multiple charges following a series of vehicle break-ins across Davidson County, according to Metro Nashville Police.

Officers said three teenagers were taken into custody early Friday morning after fleeing police several times overnight in a Mercedes SUV that had been reported stolen earlier in the week. The vehicle was reported stolen Wednesday from a residence on Couch Drive and was later connected to multiple vehicle burglaries Thursday night.

Police said one incident occurred on North 9th Street, where a 38-year-old resident reported hearing gunshots after noticing suspicious activity near a neighbor’s Chevrolet Corvette. No injuries were reported, but officers confirmed the Corvette’s window had been shattered.

Just after midnight, officers spotted the stolen Mercedes traveling at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour on Briley Parkway. Police aviation units tracked the vehicle as it eventually stopped near an apartment complex on Charlotte Pike. The three suspects ran from the SUV into the building, where officers later located them inside an apartment.

Investigators said the suspects, ages 16, 17, and 18, were found with the vehicle’s keys. An AR-15-style rifle was recovered from a closet where the 17-year-old suspect was hiding. Police also found multiple tools commonly used to break car windows inside the vehicle.

According to investigators, all three suspects admitted to being inside the stolen Mercedes and taking part in several vehicle break-ins. Each suspect was charged with vehicle theft and possession of burglary tools. The 17-year-old faces an additional charge related to juvenile handgun possession.

The investigation remains ongoing.
