A vacant home in Nashville was set on fire twice in a single day, and investigators are now treating both incidents as arson.

The first fire happened early Friday morning on McArthur Drive. Firefighters arrived to find the abandoned home in flames. The fire was quickly put out, and no one was injured. Investigators were called in shortly after.

Later that same day, crews were called back to the same address when another fire broke out. That second fire was also extinguished without injury, but officials say the fact that it happened twice raised serious red flags.

After reviewing both cases, the Nashville Fire Department confirmed the fires were intentionally set. The department is now asking for the public’s help in identifying who’s responsible. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest or conviction. Tips can be submitted anonymously by calling the Tennessee Arson Hotline at 1-800-762-3017.
